We arrived on Thursday for a the Antelope Island 55 endurance mile event on Friday morning. Ride camp was already a busy place, with 30 to 40 trailers parked near the Garr Ranch. By the next morning, the count was at least 50 trailers. Over 40 riders were signed up for the 55 mile ride, and probably about as many for the 30 mile. It was quite a day. Heading up toward Tworoose Pass (no idea what the name means) provides magnificent views of Big Ridge (yep, that meaning is pretty obvious) and Lake Fork drainage. A spring-fed trough provided a nice drink for Mischief. He's not getting ridden much this year, but he gets his exercise by following Coco and Boss. Mischief made his buddies jealous when he enjoyed the freedom of a roll. Then Coco wanted some, too. Links to this post.

Janie and Steve, Utah Trails. Exploring paths less traveled. July 15, 2014. We celebrated July 4th at the West Jordan rodeo. Our littlest grandson enjoyed playing cowboy in Papa's hat. Our oldest granddaughter, age 9, hiked with the lithe speed and energy of a gazelle. During a lunch break, the little ones had a chance to get out of their carriers and frolic a bit. A hike to Timpanogas Cave was easier, and with plenty of nice views. A ranger gave us an excellent cave tour and even took a group photo.

A few years later, he gave another grandchild a ride. He likes the attention. Kids seem to like him. He's 24 now, but still plenty handsome. We often let Mischief tag along on our rides.
