The Camper and Motorhome. At the end of May and beginning of June we decided to join some friends on a little visit to the Inner Hebrides. We caught the Hopscotch from Ardrossen to Brodick on Arran then after 2 days onto Islay for another 2 days then Jura. The Camper and Motorhome. After leaving Calais and driving through a bit of France we entered Belgium for a short spell then onto Luxembourg for the night. Compared with France, Belgium seemed more ordered and neat with lots of very long straight roads. We drove in beautiful sunshine, something we hadn't seen for quite some time in England. However because of the purchase of the new motorhome in Spain we had to cut it short. It is a lovely part of Germany to travel through with many picturesque hotels and towns and a fair amount of biker's rest stops, but it made a nice change to get onto the main E45 going south to Austria and onto our stop at Kaprun. Give her her due she really did enjoy it with only one reservation, it didn't have a toilet. Well, after 4 blissfull years travelling all over Scotland and France I finally succombed to her wishes and bought a 2000 Autotrail 635 in Spain, and yes, it had a toilet, in fact the whole back end was a toilet, shower and washroom. What more could she wish for! So this is an account of our meanderings throughout Europe and hopefully further afield in the near future. I hope you enjoy. The Camper and Motorhome.
