http://www.sportsacrossireland.org/about/mission.html
Across Ireland, we use sports and other programmes to keep the youth of Ballymun and other communities engaged in positive activities. Our programmes strive to combat anti-social behaviour of bullying, addiction, crime and self-harm through teaching youth to respect themselves, others and their community. Our programmes at SAI are fun, safe and purposefully designed to build faith, character and self-esteem into today's youth - tomorrow's leaders! What are our goals?

Boys and Girls 4th - 6th Class. ARTS and CRAFTS CAMP. The Upward Leagues are 10-weeks in duration and are designed to teach children about the sport, fairplay and teamwork. The environment allows for new friendships to be developed across areas in Ballymun, helping breakdown dividing walls between the five local neighborhoods. In working with the children, our coaching staff build the child’s self esteem through encouragement, Upward stars and equal playing time in all matches.
