Monday, August 6, 2012. Westin Kierland in Scottsdale, AZ was wonderful! The Petting Zoo was so fun for us as a family. Well, except the python. I hate snakes. . . A fun one hour show and tell from the Phoenix Zoo, several animals including a hedgehog, hawk, hissing cockroach and python made an appearance. Also in the evening, a Scottish Bagpiper plays during sunset and complimentary s'mores are roasted in the firepits. Let's not forget the big highlight of the Westin- the pool! Follow me on twitter!

For the past four years our family has traveled to Estes Park, Colorado and stayed at the ultimate family vacation destination- YMCA of the Rockies. Jennifer, Scott and Jackson. Sunday, December 14, 2014. I set a new PR! I set a new PR! What a great day! I used Hansons training program again, wonderful preparation for a marathon. I think 10 week of 60 miles per week is the right prep for me after two successful marathons using Hansons. But this year I also had over 100 barre3 classes under my belt too! Tuesday, September 22, 2009. First Day of School. Emma is returning for her second year at St. Margaret Mary's in Grade 1, and Kate is starting in Junior Kindergarden. Sunday, April 5, 2009. Harry's 8km Hilly, Chilly and Windy Spring Run Off. What was I thinking! I was told that this was a beautiful run through High Park in Toronto. I had to agree, High Park is beautiful, but the run itself was brutal! I have to say however, that conquering this little run was a feeling of empowerment as I was still able to walk and finished the race in well under an hour. I woke today waiting for the stiffness and the pain to start from the hilly race. You know what, I feel great!
