I took a bus tour from Toronto to Niagara Falls on Tuesday 6/15 and they were AWESOME! Monday, March 8, 2010. The Statue of Liberty at sunset. Friday March 5th some friends and I climbed up into the Statue of Liberty's crown. We caught the ferry from Battery Park to Liberty Island then began our ascent to the crown. It was fascinating to see the statue from the inside. The copper on the inside hasn't oxidised green like the exterior of the statue . it still resembles the golden bronze colour the statue once was. There is a long (354 steps! Her face . from the inside!

Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Little Gems in Central Park. Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. The timing could not have been more perfect! The Bow Bridge toward the southern edge of the park is beautiful structure that demands photographs . standing on the bridge you feel a mile away from the city that surrounds and towers above you. Monday, April 19, 2010. The Lincoln Memorial seen from the WWII Memorial. Arrived in D.C. around 1pm on Friday April 16. Headed downtown – passed Ford Theatre where Lincoln was shot and the house where he died – then went for lunch at Ten Penh (at the intersection of 10. Street and Pennsylvania Ave) … beautiful meal. Sunday, June 20, 2010. Niagara Falls: American Falls (left) and Canadian (right). I took a bus tour from Toronto to Niagara Falls on Tuesday 6/15 and they were AWESOME! The "tour" was very very average . the driver pointed out golf courses and pretty houses but didn't elaborate on the history of the area. When I asked him what "Niagara" meant, he said "It's just a word" . pfft. Apparently it means "thundering water" in Native Indian - thanks google. If only I had an iPhone. Tourists in their ponchos.
