Chouquettes – A Traditional French Pastry. Now, I know I said that this blog was going to be about twisting recipes/making my own recipes, but I recently tried this pastry recipe for the first time and had to share. It’s surprisingly simple. I found it in a novel I am reading currently, which I would definitely recommend to fellow recipe lovers. The novel is “Lunch in Paris: A Love Story with Recipes” by Elizabeth Bard. 1/2 cup whole milk. 8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into small pieces.
