Ik heb een aantal aanpassingen gedaan om de versterker naar mijn wensen te krijgen:. Bovenstaande rode aanpassingen brengen de eindtrap terug naar Blackface specificaties en verwijderen het vreemde feedback circuit. Ik maakte een een regelbare bias schakeling, zoals bij het eerdere AA864 circuit. Ik voorzag de eindtrap van een ultralineaire output trafo (Hammond 1650N), wat meer vermogen en minder vervorming oplevert. Sowieso een heel goede trafo! Ik voegde een mastervolume toe zoals bij de Bassman 100.

Ook dit is een gestabiliseerde voeding en omdat hij maar zeer weinig stroom hoeft te leveren (ca 10mA) kan ik volstaan met een compact print transformatortje, gelijkrichter, 3 elco's, een spanningsregelaar, een trim potmeter, een weerstandje en een veiligheidsdiode.
