Riding the Riviera!: June 2007

http://vanagone.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html

Wednesday, June 27, 2007. Ok, here is the update. We have been working night and day on Sloth. We attempted to change the seals on the oil cooler. What was VW thinking when they put the oil cooler is the most hard to get to place ever! We lowered the engine, pulled off the two left tins, lowered the alternator (changed the belt while we were there) and then ran into a snag. We could not remove the last three bolts! Wish us luck. I have lots of pictures to post and will put them up in the next entry.

Riding the Riviera!: February 2008

http://vanagone.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html

Monday, February 25, 2008. Well it is long past those luxurious summer months! We thought that it was high time that we put in the post that documents our travels. We did not make it to Oregon as we had planned but we did make it to Wyoming and had a lot of fun in between. We tried to drink in all the sites that we could. Though it was a once in a lifetime trip - we are hoping to do it again :-)! Friday, July 13th 2007. This will be a long post as I try to chronologically put our trip together! Delicious...

Thursday, April 26, 2007. You thought that I forgot about that arm rest? Is powered by BubbleShare. Add to my blog. So in total it took (two people) 3 hours cutting and (one person) 10 hours sewing - but it is done! Now I only wish that I could go back and do the first two cushions again. I have the corner thing, the zipper thing and the cording thing all figured out now - just look at this third cushion (not one mistake). Is powered by BubbleShare. Add to my blog. The Last House on the Left: It is all about the stuff!

http://musicfilmmath.blogspot.com/2008/11/it-is-all-about-stuff.html

The Last House on the Left. Wednesday, November 26, 2008. It is all about the stuff! Our new cloths arrived on Monday night. I was so excited that I wanted to go try out my new warmth right away! Unfortunately, it was raining and I did not want to get my new cloths dirty. We did not run yesterday either because of the pouring rain. Today, however, we will be getting out for a 45 - 60 minute run. Can't wait to put on my new coat! Thank goodness for thermafleece :-). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Last House on the Left: Happy Thanksgiving!

http://musicfilmmath.blogspot.com/2008/11/happy-thanksgiving.html

The Last House on the Left. Sunday, November 30, 2008. We had a very eventful Thanksgiving. On Wednesday, we only had one more item to cook when I got the news that my Mother had slipped on the frost covered stairs and took a serious fall. She dislocated her leg and broke her fibula (ouch). So we ended up having a lot more cooking to do! We enjoyed a wonderful vegan Thanksgiving - tofurky, stuffing, mashed potatoes, carrots and turnips, sweet potatoes, and buttercup squash. Delicious! This morning, Kurt ...

The Last House on the Left: Back in the saddle again...

http://musicfilmmath.blogspot.com/2009/07/back-in-saddle-again.html

The Last House on the Left. Wednesday, July 1, 2009. Back in the saddle again. It has been a while since I have updated the blog. Work, IT Band injury, and time got in the way. We ran Derry's Boston Prep 16-miler and it was wonderful! I highly recommend that race. Then we continued and did an 18 mile run and that is the one that put me over the edge. I ended up with an IT Band injury. Fast forward to July. We are now training for the Clarence De Mar Marathon. And I am doing the intermediate II. Rain, Rai...

The Last House on the Left. Saturday, July 4, 2009. Where is that road? We were supposed to go on our 7 mile pace run today however we wanted new scenery so we used mapmyrun. Kurt ended up doing a little over 6 miles and I did almost 8. Next pace run we are going to go to the marathon course and run the last 9 miles of the course. At least that way we will know that the roads exist! Thursday, July 2, 2009. Rain, Rain, Go Away! We are going to do a 5K this Saturday in Merrimack to support one of Kurt's co...

The Last House on the Left. Tuesday, April 24, 2007. Sammy's Senior Project and her BIG decision! Sammy is putting together her senior project. She researched the effect of and use of a costume designer. One of her culminating pieces is to put together an ensemble of outfits for a character in the play "The Apartment". She designed the outfits for two main characters and is making the outfits for the female character. As Tigger (from Winnie the Pooh) would say "TTFN! Ta Ta For Now! Add to my blog. Well, ...
