Friday, June 12, 2015. Lance's 39th (yes I said 39th! Birthday was last weekend so the kids and I took him to Cannon beach. It was beautiful and sunny but still windy on the beach. Good kite flying weather! The kids loved playing on the beach, jumping and running from the waves. We dug lots of sand holes, made some sand creatures and even buried Carson. Friday, July 10, 2015. Happy 4th of July! We celebrated 4th of July and my Mom's 60th birthday with a weekend at the beach house. Mandy and Jon came for a couple days also but I didn't get any photos of them. We all surprised my Mom with a paddle board and as you can see by the pictures, it was a big hit! The weekend was super hot so we spent the majority of our time in the water or playing on the water. The water was really warm too so the kids were able to do lots of swimming. Sunday, January 11, 2015. A little snow getaway. We were craving snow so we took a quick overnight trip to Leavenworth. I love Leavenworth. It's so close, but feels like a vacation! There is so much to do and see. There wasn't a lot of snow, but it was enough for us to go sledding! We even woke up to it snowing Sunday morning. We played in the snow, ate brats, shopped a little, went swimming in the outdoor (heated) hotel pool, and of course watched the Seahawks win! Sometimes it's just nice to get away.

Sunday, March 29, 2015. The first egg hunt of the year. Their school put it on for the kids and boy were there a lot of eggs. They made quite a haul. It was good practice for Easter next weekend. Monday, September 8, 2014. Rides, rides, and MORE RIDES! We spent 7 fun hours at the fair today. 6 hours were spent on rides. Thank goodness for the dizzy pass bracelet. I swear my kids went on at least 40 rides each. Some they went on 5-6 times in a row. Their favorites were definitely the roller coaster, the cars, and the big slides. Friday, July 10, 2015. Visiting Thomas the Train. It's time again to visit Thomas the Train! He comes once a year to the Northwest Railway Museum and we just had to go again! After seeing Thomas the Train we went to eat at a little brewery and then went to play at Snoqualmie Falls. We hiked down a little farther than last year but still didn't make it to the bottom. Friday, July 25, 2014. Family, fishing and FUN! Before the BBQ we met at a park in Redmond for some climbing and running around. It was such a cool park! Rylee (4), Cole (6), Ace (6), Carson (2), Jack (7), Tamryn (2), and Eden (2). Jack and Ace taught Carson all kinds of new dance moves. =). Thanks cousin Jessica for keeping an eye on the kids so we could have some adult time! The rest of the weekend was spend doing lots of fishing. The kids even took a dip in the lake. Brrrr!
