Where To Dwell's Blog. Musings of a Property Manager. Removable Wallpaper with Recycling Option. January 22, 2015. It presented a decorating test of determination but I rose to the challenge. Roach traps tucked into every corner in every room resolved the issue. (Unpleasant learned lesson: roaches revive even if they’ve been in the freezer! Fabric and spray starch makes excellent, easily removable wall paper! 1 Measure the wall, measure the fabric allowing for a little extra to conceal raw edges. 3 Gener...

Where To Dwell's Blog. Musings of a Property Manager. Section 8, I don’t get it? March 8, 2013. Rental Assistance, subsidized, Section 8, Section 212, Tax Credit, Section yadda, yadda, yadda. I don’t get it, I don’t understand, it is driving me crazy. Subsidized housing and rental assistance are basically the same thing, different terms. Each provides help for low-income individuals when paying their rent. It does not provide help with living expenses beyond the rental payment. Another reason a resident ...

Where To Dwell's Blog. Musings of a Property Manager. March 15, 2013. Odds are stacked against success. True to my intrinsic orneriness, I determined to do this without fail. Topic…….another stumbling block! 8221; That some individual can ask this question while in the midst of the “you cannot discriminate based on Race, Color, National Origin, Religion, Gender, Disability or Familial Status” astounds me. How does the “can I rent to whites only” question possibly surface? You know, I give these presenter...

Where To Dwell's Blog. Musings of a Property Manager. CRP, what do I do with it? February 20, 2015. If you paid rent in the state of Minnesota, you could be entitled to receive a Certificate of Rent Paid from your landlord. All landlords should have them provided to their residents by January 31st.
