I had to stop myself from lecturing too much, from talking too much, and tried to just let them sit with their own guilt and sadness. It's been a long week of MEAP and Parent-Teacher conferences and a calendar with little white space, but tonight the house is quiet and I'm blessed with a chance to look back at the gifts I've been given. While I admit that all has not been spacious. This school year, God has been faithful. I've logged 486 gifts. Since August, 386 since September first.
