Ventura County Coastal Cleanup Day. The mission of CCD is to engage people to remove debris from our beaches and waterways; to identify the sources of marine debris; and ultimately to change the behaviors that cause pollution. Coastal Cleanup Day 2015, marked the 30 anniversary of was another successful event in Ventura County. Over 2,800 volunteers cleaned up 43 miles of beaches and inland waterways, removing nearly 10,500 pounds of trash and recyclables! See the results and read more about ICC 2015 here.
