50 Years of Playing with Amateur Radio. Welcome to amateur radio station VE3UU. Located in the country, 6 KM outside of Carp Ontario, a suburb of Ottawa, which is Canada’s capital. Until it got amalgamated into Ottawa, Carp was a sleepy little village of 900 people that was famous for a 100,000 square foot, four-story building that you couldn’t see. QRP and Other Ramblings. Friday, 25 November 2016. Another enjoyable podcast I found was the QSO Today. Another type of podcast is the deep technical "work bench" type discussions found in podcasts like Ham Radio 360. Some of their podcasts are the "work bench" style while others are more guest discussion based. Both are very informative and some are multiple hours long.
