Just Surviving!: Men have feelings, too!
http://lcjs.blogspot.com/2004/09/men-have-feelings-too.html
Friday, September 03, 2004. Men have feelings, too! I can't say it was love at first sight when I first met my husband (I'll call him "TBO") but I can say that I thought he was very cute. Totally my type - a dark-haired, dark-eyed, olive-skinned clean-cut guy. (I admit that I spied the thin gold chain he was wearing and thought, "Oh, I can convince him to dump that." Sorry, but a girl has her limits.). And I'm proud to point him out. And his manners! And, then, out of nowhere, a little insecurity shines ...

A 44 year old stay at home mom's ramblings. Monday, November 15, 2004. Happy Birthday Sweet Girl! Four years ago at 10:13 pm, via c-section, the Girl was born. I seriously can't believe it's already been four years. I love the Girl so much. And yes, I know I'm biased, but she is dang smart! She can say the Pledge of Allegiance, including indivisible. I don't think I could say that at four. Posted by Kelley @ 11:07 AM. Wednesday, November 03, 2004. Can it be over now? I ended up reading Megan's pledge.

A 44 year old stay at home mom's ramblings. Monday, March 29, 2004. A big thumbs up for me at Mickey D's. The next time you see someone's child behaving nicely or reacting well to discipline, maybe you might compliment them. It can really make a frazzled mom's day. Posted by Kelley @ 5:03 PM. Friday, March 26, 2004. Considered by most to be depraved and immoral, you are obsessed with. Sex What really tantalizes you is that which deviates from societal standards in every. Please stay away from children.

Just Surviving!: July 2004
http://lcjs.blogspot.com/2004_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 22, 2004. Just Surviving", you say? I'd talk to my dad once a week when I was away at college. I'd talk to my mom every other day but my dad? Once a week. Not exactly a conversationalist, my dad. I'd call him at 6:50 pm on Sunday because I knew he was settling in to watch "60 Minutes" as he had done ever since I could remember. Anyway, I'd ask him, "How are you? And sometimes he'd respond, "Just surviving! Just surviving," he'd respond, with a little smile. Posted by LC at 2:28 PM.

A 44 year old stay at home mom's ramblings. Saturday, December 18, 2004. And your words will come back to you. The Girl has a new favorite doll. She got this doll for her birthday and absolutely loves it. "Sparkle" is now her daughter and goes everywhere with the Girl, even to visit Santa yesterday. As we're negotiating our way through the trees and displays full of ornaments, these words waft up to me: "Sparkle! You do not touch those! You're going in timeout when we get home! Tuesday, January 25, 2005. Posted by TB at 8:02 PM. Thursday, January 20, 2005. Hurray for inaugaration day! You totally thought I'd converted there for a second didn't you! No way Bushies, he's a long way from praise-worthy in my book. No, hurray for inaugaration day because it's my little sister's birthday! I can't believe you're 29. I couldn't possibly be a day over 25, so I'm not sure how you could be 29. Thank you for being such a good sister all these 29. Long years. Let's review:. 8) You never lau...

A 44 year old stay at home mom's ramblings. Monday, February 14, 2005. Intrigue at my house! We live in an older home, circa 1977, so we're obviously not the first owners. I'm not sure how many people have owned this house. I do know of at least one couple plus they rented out the house a few times. I don't know anything about these people but there was something going on with at least one couple. Yeah, I'm nosy, but it's so intriguing! Posted by Kelley @ 11:24 AM. Monday, February 07, 2005. We asked wha...

A 44 year old stay at home mom's ramblings. Tuesday, January 18, 2005. Black house, chartreuse trim. While reading Tish's post. About her uncle, LuLu, it struck me that maybe her uncle and my great-uncle are related. Or maybe just both a little off-the-wall. Uncle J had a thing about saving beer cans. He always said he was saving them to take them to the recycler, but they just kept stacking up in his house. When kids would come to his house at Halloween, he'd give them grocery bags full of beer ...Then,...

The Drama Queen Mother. Shoulda been a superstar, but I'm settling for supermom. Wednesday, September 29, 2004. If one didn't know better. One would think I should pee on a stick. I am nauseous. I was experiencing both vertigo and lightheadedness from Friday night through Sunday morning. I am grouchy, tired and generally pissed at the world. And I'm funky crampy on top of that. Of course, one would have to be having SEX to be pregnant. Didn't seem to effect the boy. Posted by Ang @ 9:04 PM. I MISS: my mom.

The Drama Queen Mother. Shoulda been a superstar, but I'm settling for supermom. Sunday, June 26, 2005. What you need to know about SBD. South Beach Diet. After two weeks, I'm down all of two pounds net. But I've been working out like a fiend and muscle weighs more than fat, right? I may not be svelte, but I have more energy, I'm sleeping sounder, and I feel really great about doing the right thing for myself and my family (who are all eating better as a result of me being the only cook around here).
