Monday, April 9, 2012. No Interesting Food Here. It was made of roasted beets, "Sweet Mustard Tempeh," and raw kale with an orange tahini dressing. Very earthy - not something you would serve to someone who eats "regular" food! I was proud of my kids for trying all the components without complaining (then they ate Cheerios). Still don't really like tempeh, but this was pretty good. I made the citrus roasted tofu from Nava's Vegan Holidays. I liked the glaze but it didn't do much for the tofu. We tried to...

Vegan 2.0 | Vegan At Home
15 cups of rice flour. 1 tbsp arrowroot flour. 1 tsp xanthan gum. 3/4 tsp baking soda. 1 tbsp chia seeds. 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar. 1/4 cup apple sauce. 1/5 cups of almond milk. Zest of one lemon and 1/2 an orange. 1/2 tsp organic lemon extract. 1/4 tsp of each ground cloves and allspice. Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a bread pan. Mix wet with a whisk. Add dry and whisk into the wet ingredients.Bake for 30 minutes on convection. Allow to cool, transfer to cooling rack. This entry was posted in recipe.
