Fountains rise out of the eight acre lake in front of the Bellagio Hotel. The waters shoot hundreds of feet into the air and move to the music. The choreographed fountain shows take place every half hour. Musical selections include classical music (Pavorati), show tunes ( Singing in the Rain, A Chorus Line. Frank Sinatra's Luck be a Lady. PARIS casino resort in Las Vegas

PARIS CASINO RESORT was opened in 1999. It is located on the Las Vegas Strip across from the Bellagio and next door to the Aladdin (south) and Bally's (north). A 50-story replica of the Eiffel Tower. The tower is 540 ft. high. and is about half the size of the original. A ride to the top of the tower in a glass elevator costs $9 for adults, $7 for over 65, and $7 for 6-12 years; under 6 years is free. A replica of the Arc de Triomphe. In front of the resort. LAS VEGAS - the ALADDIN and DESERT PASSAGE

Update 2007- the Aladdin is now referred to as PLANET HOLLYWOOD and has undergone major transformations. The ALADDIN is located on Las Vegas Boulevard just south of PARIS. The new Aladdin was opened in August, 2000. At the front of the resort is Aladdin's palace sitting on top of a mountain. A waterfall cascades down the mountain. The original Aladdin, built in 1966, was imploded on April 27, 1998. It was the first resort in Vegas to rebuild and keep the original name. I appologize for the dark photos.

Replica of the Statue of Liberty - 150 ft. high. New York-New York is located on the busy "four-corners" intersection at Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana. Four large resorts are at this intersection - the New York-New York, Excalibur, Tropicana and MGM Grand . The resort was opened in January, 1997. ROOMS AT THE PLAZA. In January (2002) we stayed in a minisuite (photo above). It was not the nicest room that we've had there, but it was clean and comfortable. There was a balcony so we could go out and watch the "light show" or just watch the people. The room had a small fridge, desk, couch, coffee table, end table, floor lamp and the usual furnishings. In the summer of 2000 we also had a minisuite with a balcony. It did not have the same floor plan or the same furniture as the room in Jan./02.
