The servant or officer, in a great family, who has charge of the bread and the pantry'. Tuesday, 14 May 2013. First time I have made these, definitely learnt how not to make them.I didn't whisk the egg whites enough, and probably over cooked the little chaps too. b=But they were nice, didn't have the chewy centre of which I have read, they were quite hard. The servant or officer, in a great family, who has charge of the bread and the pantry'. Tuesday, 16 April 2013. Anyway, to cut a log story short, I returned to an empty shelf - dad had managed to drop one jar and smash it, mum simply thought the other jar an eyesore and threw it away! I was scarred and haven't attempted another one, until now. Started at work yesterday. Posted by The Pantler. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Book of Mediterranean Food. Just a Pinch of Salt.

The Pantler: June 2012
http://thepantler.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
The servant or officer, in a great family, who has charge of the bread and the pantry'. Saturday, 23 June 2012. I have decided that to consecutively cook every recipe in Elizabeth David's Mediterranean food isn't fitting in with my life, I can't bring myself to feed R and G soup every night, this means it is taking me weeks just to cook through the first chapter! Today they had rope grown Scottish mussels in the supermarket, the sun was shining (a little) and I fancied mussels. Posted by The Pantler.

The servant or officer, in a great family, who has charge of the bread and the pantry'. Friday, 25 February 2011. Sausage and Chocolate Cake. It was G's birthday on Tuesday so I made a belated birthday cake. Seeing as he and his brother only eat food from 'Shades of Brown' food groups (chocolate, chips, chicken nuggets, sausages and burgers) I decided to play it safe and make a Sausage and Chocolate Cake. Simply make a chocolate. Cake, cover with chocolate butter cream. Posted by The Pantler.
