Sunday, August 7, 2011. 3 cans Pillsbury butter crescent rolls. 2 (8oz) packages cream cheese (softened). 1/4 cup butter (melted). Unroll and spread 1 and 1/2 can crescent rolls on bottom of un-greased pan. Combine softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Spread mixture over crescent rolls. Unroll and spread remaining crescent rolls over mixture. Spread melted butter over the top and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins. Adapted from My Kitchen Cafe. 1 2/3 c. flour. 1 T pumpkin pie spice*. 1 tsp baking powder. 2 eggs, slightly beaten. 1 c canned pumpkin puree. 1/2 c butter, softened. 1 c chocolate chips. Mix ingredients well and then add chocolate chips. Pour into greased muffin tin (or use muffin liners). Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Don't overbake or they will be dry! Thursday, December 23, 2010. Cinnamon Tortilla Chips and Strawberry Salsa. 5 large flour tortillas. 1 10oz pkg. Sweetened Frozen Strawberries. Preheat oven to 475. Combine sugar and Cinnamon in a small bowl. Brush. Tortillas w/water. Sprinkle w/sugar and cinnamon mixture. Cut each tortilla into wedges. Spray baking sheet with cooking spray. Place wedges on baking sheet &. Bake 5 to 7 minutes, or until golden brown. Partially thawed, strawberries in blender or food processor for 20 seconds. Combine.

So, Now That I'm a Vegetarian

Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Last week, we made 15 bean soup. It was fantastic food fare. The best part -the package was less than a $1 at Kroger. I tossed the ham flavoring packet that came with it and threw away the directions that said to cook with a hambone. We ate 2 full meals off of it and I had leftovers for myself another time after that. It was just about the best bean soup I've every had and with very minimum effort.However, you do have to plan ahead to soak the beans. Monday, May 2, 2011.
