The Boring Bunch: December 2012
http://bmhksl.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 7, 2012. In 6th grade every student is required to pick a musical instrument and learn how to play it over the school year. I think this is a wonderful way for children to experience something they might not have tried otherwise. Kirstine chose to learn how to play the flute this year. You can see how nervous she was. Total concentration, their first song was Jingle Bells. I would love it if she would stick with the flute through Jr. High and High School, we'll see though. We were seen b...

The Boring Bunch: January 2015
http://bmhksl.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 15, 2015. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Thankfully once she had 24 hours of antibiotics in her she was feeling so much better. Then on the 30th Hannah ended up getting sick and Brent came down with it on the 31st. Our actual Christmas Day was very nice though. We had a great day and lots of fun. Poppy and his granddaughters all wearing clothes given to them by Grace. Dave in his new ball pit. Ready to open the first round of Christmas presents. Poor Larissa, she was so sick. In ea...

http://bmhksl.blogspot.com/2015/01/university-of-texas-at-san-antonio.html
Thursday, January 15, 2015. University of Texas at San Antonio. How cool is it that at 15-years old you know where you are going to college and how you are going to pay for it! It sounds crazy, insane, and exciting! Then add that the school is a division 1 university and you get to play the sport you love there for 4-years! In early December 2014 Hannah was offered a roster spot for the softball team at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) along with a very nice scholarship! Veg Out To Eat.

http://bmhksl.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 29, 2013. We finally did it, we are now owners of 7 egg laying hens, well soon to be egg laying. Brent made the coop in our barn from stuff we already had. He also found plans online to make homemade feeders and an automatic waterer. This made making our chicken coop VERY inexpensive, about $25 is all. This is Brent's hen. She is the youngest hen at 9-weeks. He named her Phried. This is Larissa's hen. She named her Chip. Chip will lay green eggs. Last but not least is Seven. We only ...

The Boring Bunch: March 2013
http://bmhksl.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 29, 2013. It is that time of year, where I make the kids get all cleaned up and smile for the camera. Now that they are older it is less painful and since we aren't going to a boring studio but rather "hiking" around our property they actually enjoy it. Plus having 14 and 12 year old girls helps, any excuse to get dressed up and work on their poses for Facebook and Instagram. I was so happy with how they turned out that I had a hard time narrowing it down. yes this is narrowed down. I think...

Friday, February 22, 2013. There are so many beautiful birds in South Texas especially along the Gulf Coast region where we now live. Having walls of windows at our home makes it especially easy to enjoy these birds. These are just a few pictures I was able to take yesterday. This is our little woodpecker. He is one busy bird and you can hear him pecking away in the afternoons. He also likes to swing upside down in the treetops. Female cardinal. I didn't know they were so beautiful! Veg Out To Eat. The Boring Bunch: April 2014
http://bmhksl.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 18, 2014. On April 12th Larissa was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The baptismal service was wonderful and very spiritual. We were so grateful for all our family that attended and we missed those who couldn't come because we live so far away. Below are pictures of Larissa's special day. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
