Monday, March 18, 2013. Spring Break in Moab/Canyonlands (AKA In Search of Petroglyphs and Dinosaur Prints). We left early Sunday for the 4 and a half hour trip from Leadville to Moab. When we arrived we immediately set out on a hike in Negro Bill Canyon in order to tire the dog out before his stay in doggie daycare Monday. A tired dog is a good dog, right? Tuesday, November 25, 2008. I don't feel like writing a race report at the moment but know that my reader (Dad) will like the photos. Just a few details. I almost didn't race because it was COLD (22 deg with 26 mph wind gusts). After less than 1 lap of a warm-up I retreated to the car and sat there with the heat blasting until 10 min before the start.
