Then somehow managed to get a decent rental condo right in the complex I was initially looking at on the very first day I started hunting around. I'm still a bit shocked at how quickly it all happened, and it will probably still be another week or two before I calm down and start to feel good about everything. Sleepy and still stressy!

Ever since my UK trip, gaming on my computer has been a frustrating crash-fest, as the system likes to blow up whenever things get busy. Error codes when only the game crashes, and tests with MemTest86 point towards a failing memory chip. Almost two years ago, I bought these. For only 17 bucks it's probably better and easier to just throw the failing chip into the trash. Such is quality these days. March 2nd, 2009 12:06 am (UTC).

Shields eyes* - Velos Journal. March 16th, 2010. 01:49 pm - *shields eyes*. The sun was still up when I left work yesterday. What is this madness! Not even gone a full month and everything here at home goes crazy. Damn quick three weeks, though. Would have been nice if I could have stayed longer. The people in Leeds were really easy to get along with, and they've got quite a lot of things they want to have done on their projects. And Jacel still needs a few more weeks of steady company, too.

Yet Another Trip - Velos Journal. February 21st, 2009. 10:18 pm - Yet Another Trip. I was told the home had wireless, but that turned out to be false. just a single DSL modem at the eating area. But thankfully there are unsecured wireless networks in the homes nearby which I can sporadically sneak onto, yay. Having this new Eee901 netbook will hopefully help keep this trip from being as dull as I first feared.
