The day after Elena was diagnosed, Elena had surgery to place her port and she started chemotherapy. We also had several wonderful visits from friends, our bishopric, and our family. It was a week filled with lots of learning for us. Once we got moved upstairs, our little room was very cramped, but we had wonderful nurses and doctors in the ICS.
