http://monsoon-frog.blogspot.com/2015/01/pertinent-after-usually-alcohol.html
Ruminations on Life in the Monsoonal Tropics. Friday, 9 January 2015. Alcohol - Is it Killing YOU? Pertinent after the usual alcohol indulgence of Christmas. Alcohol poisoning kills six people a day in the USA - about 2200 a year. By that data, Australia with a population of about 24 million compared to the 317 million in the USA, our toll is around 3 per week or 140 per year. But I suspect it might be more as we Australians probably drink more than many in the USA. Alcohol is also a significant contribu...

Ruminations on Life in the Monsoonal Tropics. Thursday, 8 January 2015. What a dreadful event yesterday in Paris. Awful. It is akin to someone shooting the much loved cartoonist here in Darwin - Colin Wicking - who is well renowned for his irreverent Christian cartoons, often around Easter time.
