With the successful proliferation of GPS technology in the IFR world it is a natural evolution to transition this technology to VFR Arrival Procedures as well. Since the VFR Procedures are for situational awareness only, the use of affordable portable, as well as panel mounted GPS devices can be used. The procedures are computer generated and based on FAA AIM 4-3-3, Standard Traffic Patterns to include GPS Waypoints for 6 critical fixes.
