Sunday, April 5, 2009. I think I used to like winter, but it has been so long ago that I have forgotten it, because I don't much care for it now! I do remember that a stormy day was a good day to bake and fill the deepfreeze with glazed doughnuts, cookies, and bread. I don't do that anymore because I ate/eat too much of the bounty. Tuesday, January 6, 2009. Well, that's the way it always was! I looked across the arena and Bob Yantzie was rolling in laughter.all over the back of his pickup! Things like that just happened to Jim. Reba McIntire signed their ballcaps, and they were right up town. Later those band members were killed in a plane crash, but they had a privilege that few knew, as the boys never let others ride their horses. Jim was just mad 'cause his back was sore! Sunday, September 7, 2008. A good wife never left her clothespins on the line.exposed to the weather.she put them in the bag and kept them in the house when not in use! Ahhhthe good old days! Lye soap dried out your hands, the buckets of water broke your back, and it took all day to do washing. It is fine for the young of body, but I am very glad to have a washer, a dryer, good soap, bleach instead of bluing for the white clothes, and a clothesline to hang my bedding on a nice day. Enjoy.
