View from a Bookshelf. Words and Yarn and a little bit of Whimsy. Crying for fictional characters is healthy… Right? March 1, 2013. In my state of hormones and wonderfully emotional books and movies, I’ve been prone to cry. A lot. To the point of my boyfriend telling me in a deadpan “Stop crying. For real. Stop.”. Is this just a problem for the emotionally stunted? For the majority of my crying to be dedicated to fictional characters in their fictional worlds can’t be normal, can it? I blame the writers.
