Saturday, May 5, 2012. A friend of mine went on her honeymoon to Thailand and brought me back this gorgeous sari kit. Of course I'm not going to make a sari, but I immediately looked at it and thought "runner for the buffet". The best part of the fabric was the little sticker on it. Thursday, June 28, 2012. Just Another Summer Vacation. One of the best things about summer vacation is that I can get SO many projects completed. This time last year I was making lots of fabric flowers for my wedding. In addition to making new items for my Etsy shop, this is the summer of quilting and lots of little projects. I have one friend who gave me a giant milk crate of t-shirts to make him a custom t-shirt quilt. I fixed it up! Be prepared - new Etsy items coming soon! Tuesday, June 26, 2012.

Sunday, February 26, 2012. We got our wedding photos from our photographer last week and they turned out beautifully! I'm super excited to have lots of photos of the flowers I made! Get on Google and look at lots of photos of flowers to see what you want to imitate. I settled with white and ivory flowers because it worked with our wedding colors (navy, white and silver). Don't be afraid of fabric! Learn to love your zippo lighter. I don't know how long I spent burning the edges of fabric to give them...
