Wouldn't you know there was a cop parked right across from our driveway. We had no choice but to pull in right next to him and back it around. I'm sure he saw the gaping hole in the side of the trailer, but once we were in the driveway, we were home free. Trailer. Five is okay but six is just crazy, right?

I saw an ad on Craigslist for "Vintage Treailer Campeers. There were two of them, both beat up old campers, but hey, they were in our price range and we didn't know any better. Now, keep in mind that the trailer I had been asking about was the blue and beige one. The one behind it was not being advertised for sale.

Several vintage trailers and two people with a lot of work to do. How did we get into this? We've talked a lot about it, trying to remember just how it was we started looking for a trailer. I'm pretty sure it was the notion that if we found one, we could fix it up and take it to my art shows out of town, in order to cut out the hotel expenses on the road. We both love 'old' things, so the idea of getting an older one seemed like a good idea. Sure, why not? A little over a year later, we have.
