October 11, 2014. Give test after test to conform to a set of so-called national standards, and encourage students to learn a rigid set of material that has been developed mostly by administrators. At least in a private or charter school, you have more freedom in your decision to develop the curriculum, and most do not require you to pay an exorbitant amount of money to take a test that says you’re qualified to teach….
