Posted on 24th November 2014. Last weekend we decided to brave the autumnal winds and venture out to a nearby lighthouse. Our walk took us to the village of Hale. L24) and towards the river Mersey along the riverbanks and finally to an old lighthouse. It was a wonderful sunny afternoon and although my not-so-sporty self struggled slightly to climb around the sandstone rocks, I’m glad I decided to escape the comforts of my sofa and enjoy a breezy but warm, sunny Sunday afternoon.
