Abercych is only a short drive from the sandy beaches of North Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion but offers the peace and tranquility of Wild West Wales with its un spoilt countryside. The area abounds with wildlife and is the perfect spot for nature lovers of all ages - many of our visitors have had their first sight of badgers, otters and kingfishers while staying at the cottage. Getting down to basics now. A new addition for 2006 - as well as an indoor loo we now have an outdoor loo. With a great view.

Alma House is located on a sunny hillside the edge of the Pembrokeshire village of Abercych on a quiet back road that follows the Cych and Teifi valleys. Sandy beaches are easy to reach after a pretty drive along the Teifi valley, it takes a leisurely drive of about twenty minutes to get to Poppit Sands and Mwnt, both blue flag beaches. Our garden faces South East and catches the sun right through the day. On a clear night, the Milky Way is plainly visible as you walk into the garden.
