2008 október 8., szerda. A ma délelőttöt a Margitszigeten töltöttük. Az elmúlt pár nap időjárásának köszönhetően talán a legszebb állapotában láthattuk a sziget természeti szépségeit. Nem csak az őszi levél-színskáláról beszélek, de a sok esőzés miatt a fű is mély zöld volt. Csodálatos. Ráadásul napos, kellemesen hűs időnk volt, így semmi sem árnyékolhatta be a mai kirándulásunkat. A Thermal Hotel mögötti parkolóban álltunk meg. 2009 május 9., szombat. Mai kirándulásunkat a Fogaskerekű meglátogatása és jól kipróbálása ihlette. Maga a vonal 1873(! Ban készült el és ezzel ebben a műfajban harmadik volt a világon. Természetesen mai formájában jóval később kezdett el tündökölni - éppen egy évszázaddal az imént említett dátumot követően. A végleges változat külsőre alig tér el az első példánytól, de a burkolat alatt alaposan megváltozott.
