If you are already in the Highlands you can also reach Gairloch from the north, coming south from Ullapool on the A835 and following the A832 at Braemore. The Red Point/Badachro turn-off is three miles south. From the souther Highlands and Skye follow the A890 which turns off the A87 5 miles south of Kyle of Lochalsh and join the A832 at Achnasheen.
