Wuzhen is a beautiful place and the attention to detail in terms of conservation is extraordinary. The reason for this is that, as with parts of Beijing before the 2008 Olympics, the place was cleared of residents! There are loads of little bars, restaurants and cafes in which to have a bite/drink and relax. This is a good thing. the 'Huaihai Leisure restaurant' at the airport had little that appealed!
