Real Estate with Realtor Rod Sager: May 2014
http://realtorrod.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Musings on the state of the market with tips, information and a little fun. Friday, May 30, 2014. Take a Look at Washougal. Washougal is a classic small town that is big enough to offer the daily services of a larger city without losing the charm of rural America. Washougal is also very close in to all the "big-city" services of Vancouver and Portland. The blog post below was re-posted from my blog, "Enjoy the View". Take a look at it below and see that Washougal has much to offer. The answer is; it isn't.

Real Estate with Realtor Rod Sager: October 2014
http://realtorrod.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Musings on the state of the market with tips, information and a little fun. Friday, October 31, 2014. Don't Let Scary Looking Houses Fool You. This market seems a little less forgiving. This market is providing a great opportunity for big value in the form of a less "pretty" house. I am not talking about rough fixers here. I am talking about a dated home, with a few bumps and scrapes. I am not referring to properties that need a roof or furnace. Just a bit of updating or cleaning up. Once they apply the ...

Evergreen Coastal Living: July 2015
http://evergreencoast.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 6, 2015. I wrote this last summer but lately it applies, right? I'll be back next time :). One of the attractions to living at the coast is the very temperate climate. The weather really doesn't fluctuate that much on temperature. You get long steady streams of mild weather that you can count on. Sure it can be breezy and wet, but it is dependable. In fact the forecast for the next ten days is mid sixties by day and mid fifties by night. Go ahead, set your watch. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Beat the Heat at the Beach! That has been a running theme all summer long this year. The Oregon and Washington coast is relatively cool when the mercury is popping the top inland. Last week when I had my first triple digit heat in nearly three years, Pearson Field in Vancouver hit 103 degrees. Long Beach was a comfortable 86 degrees that day! Look at that July calendar of weather for Long Beach, WA. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I enjoy real estate, finance and investments, light h...

Evergreen Coastal Living: January 2015
http://evergreencoast.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Look what I found today! This is too juicy to pass up. I haven't seen the inside so it could be atrocious, but this home sits on a third of an acre on the bay side of Ocean Park. This does need work including repairs of a soft floor spot and likely allot more. But the bank will actually entertain carrying a note back for this one. Listed at. wait for it. $54,900. No HOA. I will drive out there and show it myself. I love a great deal. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I enjoy real es...
