N34 15 00 W117 38 19. 94 miles roundtrip and 3,500′ of ascent up to 8,303′, walk on forested trail to treed/exposed summit. Icehouse Saddle with Timber Trail on left (third way up from bottom). Looking down Icehouse Canyon. Trail up Icehouse Canyon to Mt Timber W6/CT-052. Red is AZ. 58 TX and 54 RX. 56 TX and 56 RX. 56 TX and 55 RX.

Not sure but presumed to be OK. 11 miles roundtrip and 4,500′ ascent up to 13,140′, exposed trail and summit. Looking back to start of hike in from Queen’s Mine. And so I start the ascent along a scree trail that appears, disappears and reappears with frequent monotony. I slide and lose my footing but thankfully have poles. My pace has dropped from two and half miles per hour to one...Four ...

N39 15’01 W120 05’17. 23 miles roundtrip and 400′ of ascent up to 7,740′, walk on dirt road and semi-exposed treed summit. 8220;ugly duckling”. Compared to Pluto and Watson. The peak of the “ugly duckling”. 58 tx 44 rx. 57 tx 57 rx.

Gold is so intertwined with California’s history, even our school kids could probably tell you about 1849 and its so significant we even named a football. Holcomb Valley.horses grazing, buildings on left and only 40 miles from 10 million people! My LNR...

A mountain with no name…Pt 8126 (W6/ND-041) Sunday September 13, 2015. September 22, 2015. September 22, 2015. September 13, 2015. Not sure but presumed to be OK. 1 miles roundtrip and 300′ ascent up to 8,216′, covered trail and exposed summit. Owens River as it probably looked for 100s miles south before LA “drank” it dry. Trail in and looking east to Glass Mtn. Menacing thunder clouds are north and centre of it. N4EX, KI0KN, W0ERI and N4EMG. Strong correlation between activation success and a smile.

N39 13’47 W120 08’31. 36 miles roundtrip and 900′ of ascent up to 8,617′, walk on dirt road and semi-exposed treed summit with a radio tower and numerous buildings and ski lifts. Looking east third of way down from peak.
