http://lehndorferhomeschool.blogspot.com/2013/09/finally-yankee-peddler.html
Thursday, September 19, 2013. Finally… the Yankee Peddler. So, this year we have gone to bribing our bambinos to do well =) They get wampum every time they do tasks. Well, in exchange for the wampum, the Yankee Peddler has gum, candy, pencils, glow in the dark teeth, tooth paste…etc =). September 19, 2013 at 9:42 PM. I love the Yankee Peddlers red, white, and blue lei! September 20, 2013 at 8:37 AM. And you are a one happy Yankee Peddler Mom. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Chocolate on my Cranium.

Lehndorfer Family Blog Site. Sunday, April 12, 2015. Our baby has grown up! Benjamin turned 5, last year. This year, he turned 6! If you look closely, you will notice he had an airplane cake both years! This boy loves airplanes! Well, anything that flies high in the sky and makes lots of noise and goes really fast! We are so blessed to have him in our lives! We are also grateful that Heavenly Father sent him to us when we were more mature and patient =). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Mount Everest Academy: Those Darned Socks
http://lehndorferhomeschool.blogspot.com/2013/10/those-darned-socks.html
Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Today we were learning about the daily lives of colonial children and we learned that they would darn the socks. So, of course we have some holes, so we got to work =) I only got pictures of completed work since I was helping Benjamin. This is a great picture for art on perspective =). Bekah had to help hold him down while I got the camera out =) The top photo is his finished job the second time around =). October 2, 2013 at 6:29 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Mount Everest Academy: December 2012
http://lehndorferhomeschool.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 13, 2012. Tonight our music class for school performed a concert. The group performed 2 songs with hand bells and some of the children performed individual or group songs. Angels We Have Heard on High…. Bekah and Loreena performed. Bekah and Isaac performed a. It was a perfect night. I sometimes complain that there are so many young children in the group, but tonight I was reminded why I always want to have this extra class that fits with the school year =). Mount Everest Academy: Pocahontas and Massasoit
http://lehndorferhomeschool.blogspot.com/2013/09/pocahontas-and-massasoit.html
Thursday, September 5, 2013. Our first topic in our first component teaches about the Lost colony of Roanoke and Jamestown. So, of course, we got to meet Pocahontas! We enjoyed making long houses…. And eating strange foods =) I looked up the wrong Indian Tribe, so our foods were all from the Pilgrim time period and region =) We liked the Boiled Bread. The second topic is about the Pilgrims, so last weeks food completely fits! We took the food and headed to the great outdoors! Chocolate on my Cranium.

Mount Everest Academy: Classic Literature
http://lehndorferhomeschool.blogspot.com/2013/09/classic-literature.html
Friday, September 6, 2013. When we started planning this year, I had some concerns as to what classic literature would fit our school year. Classic literature that is appropriate for upper elementary aged children. Well, God always answers prayers! During the American Revolution, families would read the bible, Gulliver’s Travels, and Robinson Crusoe! Happy Mommy =) We read the bible every day, so we decided to read Gulliver’s Travels first! Which means free voice in Latin! September 7, 2013 at 9:12 AM.

Mount Everest Academy: August 2014
http://lehndorferhomeschool.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 25, 2014. We are back for a new school year! This year we are studying the Chronicles of Narnia. The series is a perfect example of the Plan of Salvation. With it, we are memorizing The Family: A Proclamation to the World. We have the first paragraph down: Benjamin can tell you what each pictures represents. It has been a fun first week. We began our year with Solomon the Wise Old Owl. We then handed out presents =). It was a great day! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Chocolate on my Cranium.
