I created a summer reading challenge for Cayden and he got to choose a reward after reading 2.5 hours out loud. This was the second one this summer and he chose to go kayaking (thanks to testing it out at Mike and Jenny Hon's cabin). We are off under the bridge into Lake of the Isles. Dylan got his own also! Cayden had a great time. You have to love what is available so close to downtown Minneapolis! The whole family.trying to maneuver for a picture which was quite comical. Granny B likes to kayak too!

Being a parent is hard. Don't get me wrong.I love it but when you are starting a family you just don't realize that you will be up countless nights for countless hours, worry about the smallest decisions you make about raising them, go through millions of power struggles, sweat when they are performing and hope they succeed, and literally change your lifestyle to center around your kids. Weekend at Bakke's Cabin. We spent this past weekend at our good friends, the Bakke's, Cabin. We did a little bit of everything and had a fabulous time. The weather was great all weekend! Monday, February 28, 2011. Reece went in for her year checkup today. She weighed in at 23 lbs 8 oz (75-90%) and 33 inches tall ( 100% ). Monday, September 20, 2010. We spent Labor Day weekend in Winter Park with the Owens family. The kids had a ton of fun playing together. At the resort we did the alpine slide, trampoline jumping, putt putt, zip line, and of course hit the ice cream shop. The best part was we were the only Wyo fans at a CSU party! Abby's cheer was the best: P-U, CSU! Tuesday, November 9, 2010. Fall soccer wrapped up last weekend - with a near record 78 degrees out! Friday, March 25, 2011. Another fun trip to Phoenix with the Long family for Spring Break. This year the kids got to run the bases after the Rockies game. Lots of swimming at the hotel and Abby braved an 8 story water slide! Abby turned 10 while there and we had the Galvin family join us at the Rainforest Cafe to help her celebrate. Great trip! Brad's land development projects are keeping him quite busy. The recent severe rain storms have wreaked havoc on his projects! The kids are BUSY! Monday, January 9, 2012. 9 days later.and Happy New Year! We ended the night with Catch Phrase again and my team lost again.I think the other team cheats! The next morning, T.Jay cooked up an awesome mixture for breakfast burritos on the discada and then the scratch tickets began. Unforutatley, even after 10 hours and 5 different trips to the grocery store, we only had enough to buy everyone lunch the following day. Someday, someday, we'll hit the big one! We'll see how long that one lasts!

Was ist die Vokalfabrik? Ein bunter Haufen Musikliebhaber, die als Chorensemble Pop und Jazz Songs interpretieren. Dabei machen wir alles mit'm Mund : alle Arrangements sind a cappella, zum Teil mit Mouthpercussion. Stilistisch bewegen wir uns vorwiegend in den Bereichen Pop und Jazz, wobei natürlich hin und wieder ein bisschen Swing, Soul, Latin, . dabei ist. Neben dem Singen nach festen Noten binden wir auch gern freie und formgebundene Improvisation in unsere Stück- und Programmgestaltungen ein.
