Our 300-acre farm is comprised of fields and woods, hills and coulees. This marvelously relaxing geography includes a large section of virgin prairie with grasses, plants, wildflowers, and natural springs. Not only does this natural beauty invite inspection and exploration, it provides enjoyment and inspiration as well. Younger children have been known to spend countless hours enjoying the playhouse and swing. Ping Pong in the barn. Workshops in the barn. Books and a piano. Pool table and games.

After living in many places we settled where we belong. And we love to meet people, read, garden, sing, talk, raise animals, and plant trees. We have collected things Norwegian and Russian which reflect our heritage and interests and which give character and comfort to our home. The Japanese Garden with pond, Koi and goldfish, which graces our main yard, was added in 1999. Please read my blog to keep informed for the coming year. The newly renovated barn is an excellent place to come for so many reasons:. Chickens laying green eggs. Roosters crowing at dawn. Salads to die for. A restored barn for a restored person. If you have questions, please call JoAnne at any time, and she will be more than happy to cater to your needs!
