Southern Dune Buggy Club. Waning interest caused David Taylor to back away and hand the helm to the still enthusiastic Edna Gardom. Sporadic production continued and a surge in interest in ’76 saw a hard top complete with doors designed for the Mk III. Edna’s son Trevor took control in ’77 and kept Volksrod in production through to the 80’s. Continued - Mk V - Mk VIII.

Southern Dune Buggy Club. One picture says it all! The UK's 1st Beach Buggy. First model with faired in headlights, smooth bonnet, no rolled edge, and pronounced lip around side panels. The Mark II FL. Long wheel base Mark II. Note headlights are further foward, ribbed bonnet and rolled edge around the body. Long wheel base, 7 headlights. Sames as a Mark III with no built-in headlights. A return to the Mark II style headlights, stepped rear seat area. Mark VI with 5 headlights.

Southern Dune Buggy Club. Mk VII (SWB) and Mk VIII (LWB) kits are available in many gel impregnated colours. Moulded in side panels and a rolled edge all around the body provide excellent torsional rigidity and make our bodies the strongest on the market! Both models utilise 5 headlamp units and are supplied complete with windscreen, headlamp rims and number plate lamp. Other parts can be sourced on your behalf. For prices, due to varying material costs.
