Everyone in the world has IKEA furniture, but I don't think popularity always signifies a bad thing despite the trendy thing right now is small companies, local farms, and indie brands. New England Clam Chowder. 1 cup chopped clams in clam juice. 1 large onion, diced. 4 medium potatoes, cubed. 2 sticks celery, chopped. 1 quart chicken broth. 1 stick unsalted butter. 1 cup heavy cream. 1 tsp minced fresh thyme. Melt half a stick of butter in a large stockpot. Add the onions and cook over medium-low heat until golden, about 10 minutes. Add celery, potatoes, thyme, salt, and pepper and saute for 10 minutes. Add chicken broth and clam juice, bring to a simmer.

I was diagnosed with gallbladder disease, after several years of being told there was nothing wrong with me. I had surgery to remove my gallbladder. I went with Lisa to meet my Dad and family at the Grand Canyon. Lisa moved on to the greener pastures of Ivy League Connecticut. I went to Comic-Con with what I can only guess was a terrible sinus infection.
