There's a PhD at the bottom of my garden. About Walking the Labyrinth. Sissinghurst, May 2012: The Flowergasm. Biddulph Grange, June 12, 2012: Victorian Wackadoodle. September 23, 2012. The view from the beginning: lunch. With the dahlia walk and hedged parterres in sight. The front carriage entrance to the house. This is closed off to visitors…. 8230;but it’s important for my study because *this* is where the sundial is kept: off limits. Bummer. Very little of the house is open to lookie-loos; the origi...

There's a PhD at the bottom of my garden. About Walking the Labyrinth. Newer posts →. Hampstead Heath, March 2011. April 10, 2011. Hampstead Heath isn’t so much a garden as a park. And it isn’t so much a park as a London institution, with one of the best vantage points from which to view the city. I went on what turned out to be a rainy, overcast spring day. One of my continuing obsession with close-up photos of flowers. I've gotten in the habit of drawing them, perhaps to use in the PhD novel. A knot ga...

The thoughts of a man trying to be faithful in the little things of life. Monday, May 5, 2008. What does a few hours walking around the North Point Mall get you? It gets you the lamest musical experience I've had in years.maybe ever. I had the "privilege" to play the Beamz. As the slogan on their poster lured me to "play the light." The Beamz. Music system is a series of laser lights that when passed over, "play music." It has to be the stupidest thing I have ever seen! Image and experience the power.

Walking the Labyrinth

Sunday, March 15, 2015. The Painful Blog Hiatus. Months ago, my last post was that our kitten, Fand, had become very ill. Some where in here, I will go back and write about Fand. The loss of the four footed fur people that share our lives is always extremely painful. This one was devastating. But I realize its keeping me from my blog and I can't let it do that. So, moving on. I will write about her soon, when the happy memories are stronger than the sad ones. Friday, October 24, 2014. Evidently, the nurs...

Walking the Life's Path

Walking the Life's Path. Sobota, 26 kwietnia 2014. Przebudź się do tajemnicy bycia tutaj. I wejdź w cichą bezgraniczność twojej własnej obecności. Zachowaj radość i pokój w świątyni twoich zmysłów. Przyjmij z odwagą chwiejące się nowe granice. Odpowiedz na wezwanie swojego daru i znajdź odwagę, by podążać jego ścieżką. Niech płomień gniewu uwolni cię od fałszu. Niech ciepło serca utrzyma twoją obecność żywą, a lęk nigdy za tobą nie podąża. Odkryj pocieszenie w tajemniczej symetrii twojej duszy. Ps Znalaz...
