Tuesday, August 21, 2012. A night at the Boulevard, watching the Olympics. photo by Erin Rufledt. There are times of life, I am convinced, that are conducive to different art forms. There are long, rooted sorts of seasons that are like contemplative novels, others are better suited by poppy dance songs, self-deprecating cartoons, or haikus. The thing is, though, that I see my hometown and all its characters differently now than I ever did. Oh, Kansas City! Rich in color, texture, full of cowtown charm!

walk the wine
Tuesday, September 04, 2007. One For The Road. I've tried to juggle it all, but I find myself unable to blog sufficiently often to fulfill the expectations of most blog readers. So, until I finish school, which means a thesis in another year, I'm just going to have to put the blog aside. Will I return someday to Walk The Wine? Perhaps blogging will have given way to a more novel form of online communication. If not, I may resume the blog. I'll certainly continue to Walk The Wine. Posted by JD at 8:35 PM.
