Monday, October 27, 2008. Full House for the Weekend. We got to "dog-sit" Uncle David and Aunt Aimee's dogs this weekend, and I have to say the highlight was when we took the dogs for a walk on Sunday afternoon. Gavin and Cooper rolled head-over-heels twice while they were running, and "Meister" got away from Marissa once. Matt and I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. It was fun for everyone! Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Iced-in and no school. So I am terrible at the whole blog thing. I knew I would be, and yet, just like me, I caved into the peer pressure, and here it is. So I have missed all of Thanksgiving, and Christmas, with pictures, although I am still hoping to get some up at some point. Last night in Dallas we had freezing rain, so they canceled school today. Yes, we gave Gavin a Drum set. We are a bit crazy, but somebody's kid needs to play the drums, right? He loves them, and they are great in the theater room, where we have extra sound-proofing. We had Gavin's birthday party at ASI Gymnastics. The kids had so much fun. We had half the neighborhood with us! Posted by Ruth Ann.

Saturday, February 28, 2009. So I told you all upfront that I am terrible about the blog thing. I am going to attempt to briefly update the last 4 months? We'll see how this goes. Christmas was in Utah this year, and I think I took 2 pictures of the whole trip, and I can't even find those! The kids did ski school, as did I, although they did much better than I did. I attempted snowboarding and quickly learned that I am an old dog, and this is a new trick. It didn't go well. Posted by Ruth Ann.

The other day she was performing her ritual, and I was letting her because it was keeping her occupied. Nothing in there she can't have right? Monday, February 9, 2009. Every Monday at McDonald's is dollar happy meal night. The kids don't get a toy, but the price is right. The other night we went, and Naya was sure someone should have shared their fries. Sadly, this is exciting as January got for us at the Rasmussen home. Saturday, April 20, 2013. The Phantom of the Opera Medley. It was an amazing feeling, once I reached the end of the song, to know that I had accomplished something truly great. Hearing the clapping, whistling, and one person yelling "Encore! From the back of the room, really made my day. :) I even had several people ask for a copy of my arrangement. Friday, August 14, 2015. What Started It All. Well, it is sad to say.but I really wasn't a fan of Harry Potter at all. Well, during spring break back in March, we didn't really have any plans so Parker convinced me that we should have a Harry Potter movie marathon. (He was determined to get me to watch the movies and "like" them.). Only we used dowel rods instead of chopsticks). The first wand I made. Parker's favorite wand that he made.
