On Sunday both kids leave for college. I remember when I left for school. It doesn't seem that long ago. I was nervous and excited. I find New Year's day the singlemost ridiculous"holiday" in the entire panoply of Special Days. In the words of my brother "Nawgunnahappin". So, calling New Year's Day, in it's present form, a "holiday" makes about as much sense as calling a soyburger a pork chop, they are completely unrelated. If this logic is followed, why shouldn't every day.
