I'm sure I'm not alone in this mommy struggle and I'm not the only one who feels like "4 years old" is a mental health diagnosis rather than a statement of age. Musings of a new mommy to the most amazing little girl from China. Sunday, February 19, 2012. I don't know why these pictures made me giggle but they did. So much so that I thought I would share. Because I'm so pretty. I just HAVE to give myself a kiss. :). It arrived in a million pound box. With a lot of fancy looking wooden pieces, some screws and an allen wrench. Oh how I love an allen wrench. It only took me about 30 minutes to put it together and I think it looks pretty swifty in our kitchen. Saturd...

Sunday, February 8, 2015. We skipped church thinking that we were having puppies.but no puppies came ;(. Instead I went to a funeral for a mom of a dear friend and the kids went with Lauren to the summit. Unfortunately, gibson ran smack into a table and bruised up his eye pretty bad. Sunday, July 5, 2015. Happy 4th of July! We made the decision a week or so ago to bite the bullet and come to the beach. We left out this morning. We had to take Sadie to the vet as she had an episode last weekend which makes us realize that she won't be with us much longer. We decided to board her at the vet so someone could watch her closely. We stopped at whataburger to eat and then at dollar general to use the bathroom. (No gas stations around) and made it to the beach in about 4 hours. LeLe - 1 Month.

The weather has been amazing these past couple of weeks (aside from the thick layer of yellow goo all over everything). Lily and I discovered a little park just outside of our neighborhood and they have an awesome tiny playground. One afternoon last week, we rustled up some spontaneity and went. It was so fun!
