And so you know. Jonathan, Blythe and I traveled to Phoenix, Arizona in July. Why July? It's a very long story and not really pertinent to our vacation. Needless to say, it was quite hot and a long journey. Also, never travel Frontier Airlines. However, we did have a fantastic time. We missed Ethan like crazy, but he had an even better time than we did because he was attending Makers' Camp at Thanksgiving Point that week. Everybody had fun wherever they were. Thursday, October 21, 2010. Not tired of it yet…. My youngest son (Jared) asked me last night if I get bored doing the same thing over and over. He was referring to me crocheting. I told him that I only get bored when I’m about half way done with a project and so I start looking around for what’s next. I went to my local library branch looking for some books on crochet and picked up this book. And was quite intrigued by the motif on this hat. And so I grabbed some yarn and struggled through the directions.

Maybe I was lying to myself about how much work would need to go into Lola the Love Shack to get her where I wanted her to be. Or to be more accurate, to get her to where SHE needed to be. Sunday, August 21, 2011. Montana Vacation Part Deux. Once we left the cabin, we headed to Kalispell. We spent several days at Marcie’s house. And so you know. While the cats were away, the mouse did play. On a whim, Ethan decided to compete for a scholarship held by Thanksgiving Point for its Makers' Camp. Makers' Camp is for kids who want to be inspired to "Make" the future. So while we were at Disneyland, Ethan wrote a five paragraph essay with no help from us and we emailed it off for him.
