Em and Drew +2: July 2009
http://drewandemilysmith.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Em and Drew 2. Wednesday, July 15, 2009. On Sunday we had dinner with Drew's aunt and cousins. Part of it was a fruit tray with sweet, juicy, DELICIOUS strawberries. Drew's cousin told us she had gotten them on sale at King Soopers (a local grocery store- I know, weird name, huh? If you've had these, you'll know why some were already missing :). They turned out SO GOOD! Friday, July 10, 2009. Trip to Cedar Falls. And the green cornfields. Kathryn loved playing in the corn too. She even loved chewing on it.

Em and Drew +2: June 2009
http://drewandemilysmith.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Em and Drew 2. Friday, June 19, 2009. We were in a "deluxe" apartment. It had brown and sage paint, thicker carpet, crown molding, and a bit nicer fixtures. The deal was for the standard apartments that were more basic but still really nice, and the exact same floor plan and square footage. So they looked at their sheet of pricing and found they could get us into one for $685 a month! Thursday, June 11, 2009. And the hail was piled up on the ground at the end of the rain spouts. Tuesday, June 9, 2009.

http://drewandemilysmith.blogspot.com/2010/03/20-week-ultrasound-news.html
Em and Drew 2. Thursday, March 25, 2010. We had our 20-week ultrasound a couple of weeks ago and got the great news that our baby is healthy and doing well. We were also able to find out that we are going to have a little boy! First of all, proof that he's a boy :) (Look for the arrow.). Cute little crossed legs. Head (so it kind of looks like an alien head, I know, but don't they all look alien-ish in ultrasounds? Hands, and knees. That will be sooooomuch fun for you guys! March 26, 2010 at 8:14 AM.

Kate and Blair: August 2010
http://kateandblair.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 29, 2010. Ella turned two in July! We knew she and I were going to be in Idaho without Blair on her actual birthday (during my trip out west to defend my thesis) so we had a little family celebration 2 weeks before her actual birthday. She didn't know the difference- she was just thrilled to have cupcakes! How old are you? She made off with some fun new toys: a dress up petticoat skirt, sunglasses, a box for sorting wooden shapes, and some blocks for stacking (and pushing over! Here's a fa...

Kate and Blair: Family of Four
http://kateandblair.blogspot.com/2013/02/family-of-four.html
Sunday, February 10, 2013. We are now a family of four! On November 9, Henry Blair was born at 10:24 am. He weighed 7 lbs, 1 oz and was 20.5 inches long. I could not have asked for a better birth! For my own benefit, I'll write a little about the birth here. If you don't enjoy reading birth stories, skip ahead and just look at the pictures. Consider yourself warned! On the way home we stopped by Five Guys and Blair ran in to get some burgers to take home and eat. Best post-birth meal ever. Henry is a cal...

Kate and Blair: Adventures in Potty Training
http://kateandblair.blogspot.com/2010/03/adventures-in-potty-training.html
Sunday, March 14, 2010. Adventures in Potty Training. Week 1 (7 mos old). Week 2 (7 mos old). After 1 month (8 mos old). After 2-3 months (9-10 mos old). Ella started peeing less in her diaper and more in the potty. This translated into big savings on diapers for us. By the time she was 10 months old we were down to using 2-3 diapers a day (including one at night! Holding Pattern (10 mos-18 mos old). At 18 months old. Night Time and Sleeping. Was it Worth it? Here are the advantages. Huge $ $ Savings.
