The Adventures of Jed's Beard. Wednesday, February 5, 2014. The first meal I had here: a club sandwich. This is called a Godmother, a vodka and amaretto mixture. Was delicious! This is a chicken food truck that has the best rotisserie chicken I've ever had. One day I'll remember to post a picture of the chicken before I eat it all. Maybe. Our first burger here! This place included a mayo salad on the burger which was not that great and was scraped off. Can't go wrong with some delicious vodka drinks!

After about a week and a half of living in Zurich, my wife and I decided to see what the big deal about the Swiss Alps was about. So we looked into it and we found out that the closest ski resort was only an hour and a half away by train and it had a twenty minute cable car ride from the train station. What the fire hydrants look like here. The first of many chocolate shops we walked into. The lake with the mountains in the background. Cool looking fountain near the lake. Neat looking clock towers. The Opera house, the things that look like wooden planks on the ground are actually different color marble. Good view of the lake plaza.
