Wandering Becca

Thursday, October 3, 2013. Mid September Mark drove me to Boscastle to visit The Museum of Witchcraft. I knew there were some beautiful scenes by the water too, but I wasn't at all expecting.just wow. There are no words, nor camera that can capture the beauty I was lucky enough to experience that day. It was supposed to be a dark, cloudy, miserably rainy day, but did not end up that way at all! Within the town, nestled in a valley. Walking toward the museum. Wheel of the Year. Doesn't he look so 18 with ...

Wandering Becca: August 2013

http://wanderingbecca.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html

Saturday, August 24, 2013. Mark's been building a cage for Betsy's fruit trees/plants. Not done, but nearly. Unfortunately I can't be too much help in this project, but I have been attaching the chicken wire together with wire. :) I got a little I can offer. I've mostly been doing a lot of clearing/weeding, because that's really always needed somewhere. Mark's First (no added sugar) Apple Pie. Silly me, I didn't get any pics of the finished product! More pics of projects coming soon. Catching up: Part 3!

Wandering Becca: Yeah...I Bake Things...

http://wanderingbecca.blogspot.com/2013/09/yeahi-bake-things.html

Sunday, September 29, 2013. So that it's documented. 100% Spelt. My first loaf. I did some rye loaves as well. And first scones.no sugar added, half rice flour, and they are delish! The rice flour gave them a shortbread-y consistency. And I'm not the only one. Though he didn't "bake" them, Mark was on a samosas kick for a week or so.sooo good! He even did apple filled ones! Those were awesome when they were still hot. Yes, I'm taking another picture of you. Get over it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Wandering Becca: June 2013

http://wanderingbecca.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html

Friday, June 14, 2013. Two nights ago, the first time trying out the van, backed up to a big beautiful lake! Mark chopping some veggies for a soup that turned out to be absolutely delish! It was raining that whole day so we had to use our little cooker in the van - we're hoping for a fire cooked meal soon. Alright, put soup on, make some tea, and catch up on Game of Thrones! A little too small for us to both be chefs, so there will be a lot of taking turns. My man building a fire on our beach. Took the m...

Wandering Becca: A Walk Around Antony House and Garden

http://wanderingbecca.blogspot.com/2013/09/a-walk-around-antony-house-and-garden.html

Sunday, September 29, 2013. A Walk Around Antony House and Garden. Loved The Antony House! I did not come away from it with a firm grasp on a lot of it's history, but it was wonderful to look at! I will tell you what I do know and that is that it has been home to the Carew Pole family for 600 years. The family owned the estate for 200 years before they began to build the house in 1711 and even then it took another 10 years to finish it! When we responded with as much enthusiasm, he went on to tell us abo...

WB Chapter – No.1. Introducing WB Chapter – No.1. But as ever, with WB it was the constant conversations, meetings, emails and messages from people all over the world that keep us inspired. This thread of inspiration and time away from the project allowed us to reevaluate and consider what we should do with this platform that had been created to promote and show great photography. So after many long discussions and debates we have come up with. WB CHAPTER – No.1. WB CHAPTER - NO.1. WB Interview / Anna Sk...

Wandering Beasty | Wherever you go, go with all your heart. -Confucius

Wherever you go, go with all your heart. -Confucius. Who is this Wandering Beasty? Home now. Further reflections possibly to come. Back in the Pacific Northwest already. Seven weeks is nothing after 5.5 months in South America (with side trip to Japan). I hope to write further reflections but I might get distracted with hiking, biking, and jobbing.
